Sam Howell's three-interception day in a 31-19 defeat to the hapless New York Giants was not his worst performance of his first year as an NFL starter, Kevin Sheehan said as he began his segment grading the Week 11 play of the second-year quarterback.

He was sacked four times for a loss of 26 yards with a 62.7 passer rating and a 59.0 QBR. Howell did add 35 yards on the ground on three attempts with one tough TD.
"I would not put him anywhere near the top of the list of why they lost," Sheehan said of the quarterback. "But he was nowhere near the top of the list, obviously, of guys who gave them a chance to win because he made way too many mistakes."
