Andrew Fillipponi: Verbal agreement in place to bring Brandon Aiyuk to Steelers

According to 93.7 The Fan’s Andrew Fillipponi, Brandon Aiyuk is heading to Pittsburgh.

He says that a deal is in place and that it will be done soon. "I would say 99.999999 percent done."

Poni adds that there is a “verbal agreement” that will bring the talented WR to Pittsburgh.

What he doesn’t know at this point is what the return is, but says he doesn’t believe a first-round pick will be given up by the Steelers.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.

Aiyuk had 75 catches last season for 1,342 yards with 7 touchdowns. He averaged 17.9 yards a carry, a career high.

Aiyuk went off on the Steelers in Week One of the 2023 season with eight catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns, torching Patrick Peterson for most of the game.

The 26-year-old Aiyuk has improved every year during his first four seasons with the 49ers out of Arizona State.
