The Washington Commanders appear to be working towards a final agreement with Eric Bieniemy.
According to Ian Rapoport, Bieniemy returned to Commanders Park for the second straight day on Friday as they work through specifics on a deal. Albert Breer added that Bieniemy is "dressed more casually" Friday than he was for the interview on Thursday and today is about figuring out "what his offensive staff would look like."
It's likely that negotiations end with Bieniemy as the new offensive coordinator, Rapoport adds.
Bieniemy has been the offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs since 2018, winning two Super Bowls in four seasons.
