Former Washington Redskins offensive lineman Ross Tucker, host of West Wood One's broadcast for the AFC Championship game, joins the Chris Russell show to talk about the AFC and NFC Championship games.
But before getting into Sunday's big games Tucker and Russell talk about who is going to take the Washington Commanders head coaching job. Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson is believed to be in the lead right now, but Russell is making a pitch for Washington to take a long look at Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald.
For Tucker, the process is flawed with coaching positions being filled before Johnson and Macdonald can be interviewed in person before their season ends. And one name to watch: Mike Vrabel who still is looking for a job, but Tucker has a theory as to why the Commanders and Adam Peters may not have knocked down his door to bring him in for an interview.
