Does Washington officially have a quarterback problem?
After seeing Sam Howell benched on Sunday and Jacoby Brissett come in and lead the Commanders to two touchdowns (and Terry McLaurin to his best game of the year in half of a single quarter), we could have a controversy – but we don’t, because Ron Rivera said after the game that Sam is still his starter.
That’s for now, but could that change over the final three games if he keeps struggling…and will that change in the offseason when a new regime comes in, and we wonder if and when Howell’s development was prioritized over winning and neither happened?
