The Howlers are out in full force now that on draft pundit has posited that Jerod Mayo’s assessment of the Patriots taking the best available player at No. 3 is the right idea, because that roster may not be suited to set up a rookie QB for success.
There’s wonder if, with all the holes the Commanders have to fill, either trading back or not drafting a QB at No. 2 is the right move, picking up assets and running it back with Sam Howell or finding a temporary QB elsewhere.
