Kevin Sheehan had so many observations from the Washington Commanders' 35-33 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 2 that they couldn't be contained to one segment. Listen on the audio player below for more of his thoughts, plus some lively opinions from Washington fans.
"I'm happy for Ron Rivera right now," Sheehan said. "It's early, they're 2-0... Ron Rivera's a good man, he's been through a helluva a lot, he's not the terrible coach many of you think he is. He's not an upper-echelon head coach, either. But they have picked some tough, resilient, gritty players that locker room and that culture in that locker room has been changing for the last two to three years. And without that kind of a group with some leadership in that locker room, you don't come back from 21-3 down on the road. Loved what happened in [Sunday's] game."
