Let's take a look at the list of prospective candidates – based on who has interviewed already – to succeed Ron Rivera as the next head coach of the Washington Commanders: Dan Quinn (Cowboys defensive coordinator), Aaron Glenn (Lions defensive coordinator), Raheem Morris (Rams defensive coordinator), Mike Macdonald (Ravens defensive coordinator), Anthony Weaver (Ravens associate head coach and defensive line coach), Bobby Slowik (Texans offensive coordinator) and Ben Johnson (Lions offensive coordinator).

The question for Kevin Sheehan is, who do you hope Josh Harris and new GM Adam Peters decide to hire? And who do you hope they do not hire?

Sheehan said his answer is really, really a reach: "The biggest disappointment to me is I want [recently fired Titans head coach Mike Vrabel] interviewed. I want Vrabel interviewed. I want to hear soon that Washington is interviewing Mike Vrabel. He is the surest thing without a lot of 'hope he turns into a really good head coach.' 'Believe he'll turn into a really good head coach, but hasn't done it.' Vrabel right now is a Top 5 – worst case Top 8 – head coach in the NFL."

Sheehan would also throw in Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh in that same category, too.
