Junkies: Jayden Daniels could 'destroy' his rushing prop in rookie season

Football Forever posted a graphic last month that showed how Jayden Daniels’ top sprint speed is actually comparable to Tyreek Hill, in fact near identical last season.

Daniels, in his final year at LSU, reached a top sprint speed of 21.8 mph, while Hill reached an even 22 mph last season with the Dolphins, where he was an MVP candidate before injury hampered his campaign.

For JP and Cakes on The Sports Junkies, that could mean placing an easy bet on the Commanders rookie quarterback to hit the over on his season rushing yards prop.

“That’s why a lot of people think he’s gonna just destroy his rushing prop, which is right around 400 yards for the season,” JP said. “If he stays healthy, he should be a 600-650 yard rusher as a rookie.”

Some sportsbooks seem to have caught on, as some are not at 500 to 550 yards for Daniels’ over/under. Still, JP and Cakes believe that would be a good bet, as Daniels could wind up boasting that sprint speed and running wild in his rookie year.
