The Commanders fought to the end against the defending NFC champion Eagles on Sunday, falling in overtime after tying the game with no time left on the clock in the fourth quarter thanks to a dramatic touchdown connection from Sam Howell to Jahan Dotson.

Washington kicked the PAT to send the game to overtime, but the Junkies wondered, should Ron Rivera have gone for two, and the win, right then and there?

“There are so many factors,” Bish said. “The fact that he said ‘I’m just gonna go for one, have a 10 minute overtime, have a chance to win in overtime,’ I don’t have a problem with it. It’s risky, and I can understand why people criticize it now, after they lost the game, but at the time, you have to understand…if they lost it, you’d be pissed.”

The reaction from the Junks was fairly unanimous: going for two could have worked, and put a stamp on a statement victory, but they took little issue with believing they could get the job done in overtime.

“I have no problem kicking it,” EB said. “No problem with it.”
