The Washington Football Team has ruled out wide receiver Curtis Samuel and running back J.D. McKissic from playing in Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The concerning part for McKissic is that he's already cleared concussion protocol, but is still being held back by the accompanying neck injury he suffered during Washington's Week 12 win over Seattle. Tuesday will mark his third consecutive game missed due to those injuries.

Samuel, who's already missed much of the season with a groin injury, suffered a hamstring injury during last week's loss to the Cowboys. This will be the ninth game he's missed this season (after playing three for straight weeks against Seattle, Las Vegas and Dallas). He's had 10 touches for 38 total yards from scrimmage in his five healthy games.
Tight end Ricky Seals-Jones is listed as questionable with an undisclosed illness.
There are a few bright spots from Washington's latest injury report. Terry McLaurin has cleared concussion protocol and was a full participant in practice for the past three days. Additionally, offensive tackle Sam Cosmi and defensive end Montez Sweat have both been activated off of the Injured Reserve, and defensive tackle Matt Ioannidis has been activated off of the Reserve/Covid list.
Guard Brandon Scherff was placed on the Reserve/Covid list, which currently has 16 players listed.
The Covid outbreak that swept through Washington's locker room isn't limited only to players anymore. Seven members of Washington's coaching staff will miss Tuesday's game due to Covid-19 protocols: defensive line coach Sam Mills, wide receivers coach Drew Terrell, running backs coach Randy Jordan, defensive backs coach Chris Harris, assistant DBs coach Brent Vieselmeyer, defensive quality control coach Vincent Rivera, and defensive coaching intern Christian Garcia.
