Last year no one would've suspected that a 20-year old rookie would've been playing important fourth-quarter minutes in a closeout game for the Miami HEAT. Well that's what HEAT rookie Tyler Herro has done throughout not only Monday night's victory, but in every game in this year's playoffs so far.

In yesterday's closeout game he had 16 points (seven in the fourth quarter), five rebounds (two offensive rebounds in a single possession) and four assists to help lead the Heat to there first appearance in the second round since 2016, and first sweep since 2014.

ESPN Broadcaster and former NBA coach P.J. Carlesimo joined the Zaslow and Amber Show and spoke on the 20-year old.

"I saw him at Kentucky when I was working the [NCAA] tournament last year, knew he was coming out and I thought he was raw and wondered 'why is he coming out? he could use another year,'" Carlesimo said. "He came out and I was wrong. He got drafted higher than I thought and now he gets to be seasoned by Spo and the Heat coaching staff and their nice mix of veterans and young guys on this team."

At times it's as if the HEAT aren't dealing with a rookie with the amount confidence he has in himself and the trust that he has from the coaching staff.

"He's got a ton of confidence, there's no question", Carlesimo said, "Some people might call it cocky, but it's not cocky if you can back it up and he can back it up. I'm super impressed with his entire game."

Carlesimo went on to fawn over Herro's performance in last night's game

"There's something in every single [stat]line excpet steals, it's unbeliveable", said Carlesimo, "He plays basketball, he knows how to play and I'm a huge fan".

You can hear the rest of the P.J. Carlesimo interview with Zaslow and Amber here, where he spoke on his time in the bubble, saying he would've love to coach Jimmy Butler and the reappearnce of the Cooper City Rattlesnake:
