The golf world was shaken up earlier this week after news broke that Tiger Woods was hospitalized after a nasty car crash in Los Angeles that resulted in multiple “open fractures” in his leg and a shattered ankle.

The legendary golfer is considered lucky to be alive after undergoing emergency surgery following the accident.

Golfers across the PGA shared their well wishes for Woods throughout the week and on Sunday decided to honor him by wearing his signature red and black gear that he saves for the final day of tournaments.

Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Jason Day and Tommy Fleetwood were among some of the many golfers seen wearing red and black at the WGC-Workday Championship in Bradenton, Fla.

Even the LPGA Tour got in on the action led by Annika Sorenstam at the Gainbridge LPGA event in Orlando.

Woods’ golf future is certainly secondary to his general health, but the 45-year-old is recovering and in “good spirits.”
