NBA Bad Beat: Ben Simmons' buzzer beating three sends Sixers-Cavs over the total

We have another Bad Beat of the Year nominee in the NBA.

The 76ers were in Cleveland Saturday night for a matchup with the Cavaliers. With the total set at 220 and a tight game in regulation, all under bettors wanted was the game to not go into overtime.

However, they were not so lucky.

No points were scored in the final 1:38 of regulation sending the two teams into overtime tied at 92. Under bettors were still safe at this point.

However, losing in the final minute, the Sixers fouled several times to keep their hopes alive. 16 points were scored in the final 27 seconds of game time, including this buzzer beater.

A Ben Simmons buzzer beating three to send the game over the total!? Before that three, Simmons had made just three of his shots from beyond the arc on 30 attempts.

If you are an over bettor, nothing but joy. But for an under bettor, the agony of defeat.
