Christy and Dave are Brigance Brigade Foundation Grant Recipients. These critical BBF grants help with out of pocket costs that can be upwards of $200,00 a year for equipment and expenses not covered by insurance.
Founded by Baltimore Raven and ALS survivor O.J. Brigance and his wife Chanda, the Brigance Brigade Foundation, (BBF), equips, encourages and empowers people living with ALS, (PALS).
November is National Caregivers Month, but as Christy will tell us, every day is Caregivers Day!
Christy has been a CAL, (caregiver to someone living with ALS), since her husband Dave Parker was diagnosed with ALS on November 19, 2015, just a few months before their wedding.
