Arnold Schwarzenegger recently had a pacemaker placed into his chest.
Schwarzenegger announced on an episode of his "Arnold's Pump Club" podcast he was in recovery from the surgery. The action star has previously had three open-heart procedures.
"Last Monday, I had surgery to become a little bit more of a machine: I got a pacemaker," Schwarzenegger said, referencing his iconic role as a robot in the "Terminator" film series.
"First of all, I want you to know I'm doing great! I had my surgery on Monday, and by Friday, I was already at a big environmental event with my friend and fellow fitness crusader Jane Fonda," he said. "Nobody would ever have thought I started the week with a surgery."
The actor went on to thank the team who performed the surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, saying it was "painless as possible."
Along with big health news, Schwarzenegger has also been tied to a new project with his former "Twins" costar Danny DeVito.
