LISTEN NOW: Dr. Alfiee Breland-Noble talks with Mikalah and Dr. Jenn Mann

During the interview segment, titled The Mental Health Affect of No Choice, host Mikalah Gordon and psychotherapist Dr. Jenn Mann join recurring guest Dr. Alfiee Breland-Noble, mental health Correspondent and Founder of The AAKOMA Project. The conversation is centered around the possible overturn of Roe vs. Wade, following the Supreme Court's leaked draft. The in-depth convo also discussed women controlling their own bodies.

“It’s quite an emotional roller coaster and I feel like for women and trans men, It’s been really difficult to process what’s happening,” said Dr. Alfiee. “It’s shocking to me as a woman and as someone who has been an activist since I was in my early teens, that this is on the table,” Dr. Jenn added.

Dr. Alfiee previously joined Audacy in September for the I'm Listening broadcast special. Artists such as Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly and Demi Lovato opened up about prioritizing their mental health. They also empowered listeners to share their own mental health journeys.
