Abbreviating "2020" as "20" Could Open You up to Scammers

Abbreviating the year 2020 as just "20" on checks could open you up to SCAMMERS, because it's easy to change the year by adding two more digits to the end.  For example, if you wrote a check with the date "1-6-20" on it, someone could cash it electronically . . . change "20" to "2021" . . . and try to cash it again next year.
