With “Hang in There Girl,” (Above) Ashley McBryde wraps up the video trilogy she began with “One Night Standards” and then “Martha Divine.” The latest video doesn't quite wrap up like one might think. It leads us to think that there may be more to come.
Much like Martha Divine, the video gives us a quick recap of the story of her friend getting revenge on her cheating dad's mistress.
With McBryde riding shotgun, a car is driven to a junk yard and destroyed, but Martha Divine isn't dead...I know... I thought that too... instead, she’s left in the woods with no shoes, and the hotel ledger with her name is buried.
But the BIG surprise in this video is a mystery man enters the scene with a small duffel bag and uncovers the book. Who is he? NO IDEA! Maybe we'll get a FOURTH installment. Then, it's not a trilogy is it?
