According to Variety, the Netflix documentary series Tiger King has generated 34.3 million unique viewers during its first 10 days on the service, from March 20-29, making it one of the most popular original shows on the platform ever... And that's just in the United States!

Those numbers even surpassed the first-10-days of the second-season premiere of Stranger Things, which drew 31.2 million unique viewers. It did fall a little short the most recent season debut Stranger Things' third season that averaged 36.3 million unique viewers last July. But either way Netflix has a bonafide hit on their hands.

The Tiger King phenomenon has fans clamering for a movie. Polls about who should play the Eccentric Zookeeper, Joe Exotic

Rob Lowe just may have our answer. On Monday, the 9-1-1: Lone Star actor, posted photos on his Instagram of himself dressed up as Tiger King, complete with mullet wig and a dog posing as a tiger.  In the caption of the post Lowe revealed that he and American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy  are developing their version of the story.

People even confirms that they are indeed in talks.

Hopefully Carol Baskin won't mess this one up. lol

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness is now available to stream on Netflix.
