CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (September 4, 2020) – Chattanooga’s nationally-ranked haunted attraction returns this fall with all new twisted storylines and sets, disturbingly-real scares, and COVID-19 safety practices in place. The haunt and escape rooms in the notorious cursed town begins October 1 and runs every Thursday – Sunday through November 1.

“Every section of the haunt this season has meticulous details ominously surrounding guests as they journey through the sinister underbelly of Dread Hollow,” says Todd Patton, co-creator of Dread Hollow. “This year, there are surprises and twists to give even the ultimate haunt fans a terrifying sensory experience they’ll never forget.”

Dread Hollow’s 2020 theme, Cursed, foretells the fate of the scourged town as its disturbing past returns with an inescapable vengeance. The story vividly plays out across 20,000+ square feet where brave-hearted visitors step inside Ravens Gate Prison to explore ill-fated cellblocks where the convicted roam amid rumors of bizarre experiments. Cross battle grounds of the Broken Coven with dark forces conjuring the dead in a sinister clash for power. Enter the oppressive fog shrouding Harbinger Bay as river beasts, untethered from their watery bounds exact revenge.

“The health and wellbeing of our guests, team and communities is our number one priority,” said Kara Van Brunt, executive director of Ruby Falls. “This season’s haunt and escape rooms will be unlike any other.  Along with the fright-filled entertainment we’re known for, we are seamlessly including significant COVID-19 safety and health measures such as limited-capacities controlled by timed-entry tickets purchased in advance of arrival, physical distancing, protective face covering requirements, staff and guest health screening prior to entry, enhanced cleaning and sanitation of frequent touch points plus guests will not be combined with others outside of their social bubble.” Details about Dread Hollow’s COVID-19 safety precautions are posted on www.dreadhollow.com.

Tickets for Dread Hollow and Deliverance Escape Rooms can be purchased online only at www.dreadhollow.com via timed-entry ticketing. To support physical distancing, all tickets are for a specific date and time of entry.
