Arguably one of the greatest television commercials off all time came from Coca-Cola, "The Steeler and the Coca-Cola Kid" featured the now retired Steelers legend Mean Joe Greene and this 9 year old boy and they just create televison magic. In the commerical, Mean Joe is limping off of the field and this kid offers to help. When Mean Joe turns him down, the kid offers him his Coke. Mean Joe takes it, guzzles it down in one move...the Coke theme plays and Mean Joe tosses his jersey to the kid. The commercial ends with the kid saying "Wow! Thanks Mean Joe!" JUST MAGIC!

In fact, the commercial was so good... they made a movie about it! It was called "The Steeler and the Pittsburg Kid" Starring Mean Joe Green and Henry Thomas (of Elliot from ET fame) as "The Kid".

But before Henry Thomas, the ORIGINAL kid was Tommy Okon.  Mean Joe Greene and Tommy reunited after all these years. According to the youtube descriptioin "Kevin Frazier, host of ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, sat down with Pittsburgh Steelers legend “Mean” Joe Greene and Tommy Okon to reflect on the beloved Coca-Cola commercial from the 1980 Super Bowl. The emotional segment reunites them as they reflect on the lasting legacy of their award-winning ad, the poignant message it conveys and the power of friendship. The full segment will appear in SUPER BOWL’S GREATEST COMMERCIALS 2016, Tuesday, Feb. 2 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network."
