The Academy of Country Music Awards was an unforgettable night for country music, and this year it was all about "Choosin' Ella"—and it definitely showed! Ella Langley swept the evening with five trophies, including the coveted Female Artist of the Year. Langley won five awards at this year’s ACMs, and no other artist in ACM history has amassed 12 awards in just two years. She completely shatters the old record held by Faith Hill, who won 10 awards across the 1998 and 1999 ceremonies.
Cody Johnson also dominated, taking home both Male Artist and the coveted Entertainer of the Year. Parker McCollum secured a major milestone by winning Album of the Year for his self-titled project, while Brooks & Dunn extended their legendary record with an 18th Vocal Duo win. Not to mention, Miranda Lambert continued her historic reign as the most-awarded artist in ACM history, adding even more hardware to her shelf for her collaboration with Langley as this is her 20th ACM Awards.
Little Big Town made a comeback at the ACM's on Sunday. They performed their new song "Hey There Sunshine," and it's the first track the group has released in two years.
