Today is the 50th anniversary (!) of Earth Day. How are you celebrating?

Even with physical distancing & #ShelterInPlace restrictions, there are still many ways to honor and thank our planet today:

1. Go outside and breathe in fresh air. Walk around the block, but be sure to maintain your 6-feet-apart safe distance from others.

2. Find a digital event to participate in HERE (click).

3. Plan a scavenger hunt with your kids during lunchtime or in a break from e-Learning. Search for a person riding a bike, a garbage can, a truck, a red bird, a squirrel or a chipmunk. What about worms in puddles?

4. Calculate your carbon footprint HERE (click).

5. What about going "meat-free" for the day? Turns out that a vegetarian's carbon foodprint is about 2/3 of the average American and almost 50% that of a meat lover! Find out more HERE (click).

6. Since you can't hug other people right now (besides your #StayHome family), hug a tree! Turns out our friends in Iceland are doing just that ... info HERE (click).

7. You can play a free online Earth Game HERE (click) with the kids.
