Sometimes, it's the smallest gifts that mean the most ...
Oregon resident Sasha Tinning took her grandson Carver shopping for items to donate to firefighters in the western US, and he knew right away what they needed in their lives: Baby Yoda ("The Child" from Disney's smash hit The Mandalorian). Sasha included a note with the donation from Carver, saying, "Here is a friend in case you get lonely..."
Tyler Eubanks had organized a donation drive for her community of Colton, Oregon, but the Baby Yoda gift took her by surprise ... turns out, it was exactly what the firefighters needed.
Mike Lewelling, fire management officer at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado told The Today Show, "The smallest gift of kindness goes a long way. This has been a very long and stressful fire season and many firefighters are away from their families for weeks, and even months. This gift puts a smile on even the toughest of firefighters out there!!"
