A California man decided to do something extra special for every staff member at the Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Inspired by their relentless efforts fighting COVID-19 and helping as many as 100 patients a day, Michael Gittes painted & gifted a unique floral painting for every doctor, nurse, receptionist, janitor, manager, administrator, and cook at the hospital.
Interfaith CFO Tracy Green told CNN, "When they actually got to touch and see the paintings, it was like Christmas. They just felt like ... they've been working tirelessly the last couple of months and for someone to see that, and just give them a gift, they were just so happy."
Gittes picked this hospital because at the height of the pandemic, specifically in New York, that area of the nation was fighting it the hardest ... what an amazing gesture!
