Brandon Smith's 12th birthday was a few days ago and he was a little disappointed that he would be spending it in quarantine. Smith is used to going to an amusement park or golfing with his dad to celebrate his big day, but with the stay at home order in place, he couldn't do any of that.

Still wanting his son to have a memorable and exciting birthday, Smith's dad took to Twitter to help celebrate. His son loves geography, so he had Smith draw a map of the world and asked Twitter users to reply or RT where they are so he could mark it on the map.

Dad Jody Smith tweeted: "This is my son, Brandon. Today is his 12th birthday. I can't give him the party he deserves but Brandon loves geography. He would love it if you would RT or reply where you are so he can mark it on his map."

In only two days the 12-year-old received over 100,000 birthday replies from strangers all over the world! He has been pinning the locations of each person that reaches out on his homemade map.

Neither Jody nor Brandon thought the Tweet would get that much attention. They both figured maybe 50-100 people would reply and they were blown away by the responses!

The tweet went viral after Star Wars actor Mark Hamill tweeted back: "Greetings from Malibu California."

Some messages came from as far as Tasmania and Antarctica and both father and son are grateful to every person that has tweeted back with a picture or video of their current location!
