The Blues Angels announced they will be conducting a flyover in the city of Chicago to salute healthcare workers, first responders, and other important personnel on Tuesday (May 12th).

The U.S. Navy pilots are known for participating in the annual Chicago Air and Water Show in August, but will lead a surprise flyover to honor front line workers that are fighting the coronavirus pandemic tomorrow.

The flight plans were just announced and the planes will first fly north along the Lake Michigan coastline at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, then loop across the city, reaching suburbs as far west as Melrose Park and as far south as Oak Lawn, before departing the area around 12:00 p.m.

Remember: social distance rules still apply even during the flyover. Do not congregate in large groups to watch the planes together.
