Carina Cansino basically won the award for 'Most Creative Mom of the Year' according to the internet last week.
Her son was beginning kindergarten and she decided to dress him in the cutest oversized t-shirt, which he'll mark with a painted handprint in honor of the first day of school for the next 12 years.
This photo has since gone viral with many loving the idea and wanting to adopt it for their own children. The photo was posted by Cansino on Twitter and since has over 215,000 likes and 35,000 shares.
Cansino said, "The concept is that every year on the first day we take a picture of him in it and by his senior year he will fit in the shirt and we'll get to go through every school year photo and watch his growth."
Many are now looking into purchasing their own t-shirts, but Cansino just wants her son to be able to cherish these memories and not worry about monopolizing on the idea.
Along with the shirt, she also started a journal for her son with memories, stories, and hardships written throughout that he will be able to read on graduation.
These keepsakes are amazing and something both she and her son will treasure for years to come. We love this idea and are so excited for Cansino and her son to hold on to these precious moments! #GoodVibes
