Looks like Burger King is also jumping on the 'Impossible' sandwich train with the introduction of their new vegan 'sausage' breakfast croissant.
On Monday, the fast-food chain announced its new plant-based Impossible Croissan’wich, which is served on a flaky pastry with eggs, melted American cheese, and sausage created by Impossible Foods, a company known for its plant-based meat substitutes.
This new menu item helped Burger King make history as the first national restaurant to offer an Impossible Sausage Made From Plants on a breakfast croissant.
To promote the limited edition sandwich, BK is giving away 100,000 free Impossible Croissan’wiches through their app. In order to claim your free impossible sausage breakfast sandwich, all you need to do is download the app and pay a minimum of $1 at participating U.S. locations.
The new breakfast item is available at participating Burger King restaurants at a retail price of $3.99.
