While the Chicago Cubs had to cancel a few games over the weekend due to a positive COVID-19 test on the Cardinals roster, stellar shortstop Javier Baez still has much to celebrate as he and his wife are expecting their second child!
The couple announced the pregnancy news with the most adorable social media post featuring Baez's son, Adrian, AJ, for short.
In the post, AJ can be seen wearing a 'Big Brother' shirt and holding a picture of the ultrasound. Then if you swipe to the second photo, he is holding a #9 Baez onesie!
Baez captioned the announcement saying, “With all the ups and downs, my family will always be my present and my future. Thank you God for another blessing.”
Baez and his wife Irmarie got married back in 2019 in Puerto Rico.
No due date has been announced yet, but many Cubs players and Chicago fans reached out extending their congratulations to the family!
