CMA Fest 2020 Has Officially Been Canceled Due to Coronavirus Outbreak

CMA Fest, 2020, Canceled, COVID-19

Tens of thousands of country music fans flock to Nashville every year in June for the star-studded CMA Fest, but unfortunately, the Country Music Association just announced that due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 CMA Fest scheduled from June 4 - June 7 has been canceled.

The organizers said that in good conscience they cannot risk the health of the artists, managers, staff, and fans that take part in the annual events.

The CMA said that fans who purchased four-day passes for this year’s CMA Fest can use them for the 2021 festival, set for June 10th through June 13th. Full refunds are also being offered through Ticketmaster and the CMA Fest Box Office.

The CMA Fest has been a highly anticipated annual event since it was created in 1972 as a Fan Fair. Fans love how up close and personal they can get to their favorite artists via intimate performances and meet and greets, which are both impossible now during this age of social distancing.

Now, country music fans will have to look to 2021 to get their CMA Fest fix in!
