Elgin police officer Hector Gutierrez spread some positivity when he joined a dance-off with protestors at a peaceful demonstration.
Gutierrez said when he heard the music he knew he wanted to participate because he used to be a dancer at Bartlett High School.
While he is sore now since he hasn't danced like that in years, Gutierrez said it was worth it being out with the people of his community.
