Gabby Barrett has much to celebrate this week! Her debut single "I Hope" has officially reached #1 on the country radio charts!
A female country singer has not had her debut single hit #1 since Carly Pearce with "Every Little Thing" back in 2017. Before that, Kelsea Ballerini was the last female country singer to hit that milestone in 2015 with "Love Me Like You Mean It."
Barrett's musical journey began back in 2018 when she finished third of the 16th season of American Idol. The judges were all impressed by her first audition and predicted from the start that she could be the next winner!
Since Idol, she has started making her own name in the country music industry and the success of her debut single "I Hope" will only help further her career!
We're excited to see what she releases as her follow-up single!
