Who doesn't love the children's book, Goodnight Moon? It's a staple in every kid's childhood, getting that book read to you before bedtime and now thanks to an online spoof account, the new generation will be receiving a pandemic version of the classic book.
What started as an online parody will be published by Penguin Random House this fall and be titled Good Morning Zoom.

The new book will take the classic bedtime story, Goodnight Moon, and turn it into a story about Zoom, bread baking, homeschooling, and other parts of the pandemic everyone has been experiencing.

The author of the new narrative, Lindsay Rechler, explained how the story came about: "I wanted to tell my children a relatable story — a story that would help them become familiar with their new everyday lives and within that story, touch upon what was happening in the outside world."

The book is intended to help kids understand why the quarantine is happening, why social distancing is important, and how we are all living a new normal. Hopefully, it will help kids better navigate the pandemic and learn more about the state of the world.

All author net proceeds will be donated to coronavirus relief charities.
