2020 has given us some crazy and "I can't believe that just happened" moments and that's probably what this airline pilot thought when he saw a "guy in a jet pack" hovering over Los Angeles International Airport at 3,000 feet.
On Sunday night an inbound American Airlines pilot had to alert air traffic control about the unusual sight. He explained that the guy was on the left side, about 300 yards away, and at the same altitude as the plane.
Then a few moments later a Southwest inbound pilot alerted air traffic control about the same report a "guy in a jet pack." Air traffic control then had to call a third incoming Jetblue pilot about the incident who, according to WGN News, responded with, "We heard and we are definitely looking."
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) could not confirm the sighting, but both local law enforcement and the FBI were notified and have launch investigations.
