Themed pop-up bars have become sort of a tradition here in Chicago with some clubs/lounges completely changing their decor and drink menu to match a specific TV show or movie idea. Last year both the Friends and Stranger Things pop up bars were HUGE hits with decorations from the shows, including a makeshift Friends couch and some awesome themed photo ops (because if you went to a pop-up bar and didn't post about it, did you really go?)
This season though, the Sixth cocktail bar is transforming itself into “Honey, I Shrunk The Pop-Up” – an homage to the Honey, I Shrunk The Kids movies.

The pop up will be open now through November 1st and reservations are required!

With COVID-19, the bar is putting in very strict guidelines including a reservation and face mask policy, a social distance adherence, and more. Even with all the new policies and procedures in place to keep us safe and healthy, this bar experience will still be one to talk and definitely post about as both the indoor and outdoor cocktail lounge will be decked out in oversized decor, large scale movie scenes, and a socially distanced photo opportunity that includes a 6-foot tall dinosaur to really make the experience immersive and give guests that 'shrunk' feeling!

There will also be 14 movie-themed specialty cocktails on the menu!

If looking for a fun and safe night out, check out the “Honey, I Shrunk The Pop-Up” bar in Lincoln Square!
