The 65-year-old actor began making 1 minute videos on Instagram where he would just tell his followers about his day while stuck in quarantine. The videos began to go viral, especially because Jordan would open each one with, "Well, sh** what are y'all doing?" That not only became a funny video meme to describe life during the pandemic, but also became a T-Shirt and face mask slogan.
Jordan's popularity on Instagram grew very quickly and he went from a few thousand followers to now having 5.4 million!
Fans love his videos because they are honest and hilarious. Brands and companies began seeing his increasing popularity and started reaching out for collaborations or endorsement deals. Jordan turned down a lot BUT one he didn't was a book deal!
Jordan has written an autobiography before about growing up gay in the Baptist church, but this one will be an entire collection of comedic essays!
