  • TODAY is Women’s Equality Day!

    • Women's Equality Day commemorates the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, granting women the right to vote. We have a long way to go, but lets take a moment today to look back on how far we have come.

  • Who is this year's highest-paid actress?!

    • For the second year in a row, Scarlett Johansson tops Forbes' list of the highest-paid actresses, earning $56 million! Her earnings include many Marvel movies like her upcoming solo story, Black Widow and the box office smash Avenger's: Endgame!

    • For the fellas, Dwayne Johnson, also known as 'The Rock', tops the list at over $89 million! If you combine all the men AND women, Johansson doesn't even make the Top 5...again we have a long way to go for Women's Equality Day!

  • The Chicago Park District has issued a swim ban for 25 Chicago area beaches.

    • There is also a Lake Michigan swim ban out of Lake County. All the bans are in place for the safety of beach patrons because over the weekend two were pulled out of the lake at Fullerton Beach.

  • In Sports, the Cubs had a BAD weekend at home

    • They got swept by the Nationals. They play the Mets tomorrow in New York. The good news is they are only 2 and a half back from the Cardinals.

  • White Sox had a better weekend...

    • They won 3 out of 4 against the Rangers this weekend....but they are 19 back from the Twins.

  • Bears beat the Colts in their preseason game on Saturday

    • They have one more game this week and THEN NEXT WEEK the regular season kicks off against the PACKERS on Thursday the 5th!
