June is pride month and many artists and celebrities have shown their support through attending virtual parades, discussing being an ally on social media, and advocating for equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community.

Last year Taylor Swift wrote and released "You Need to Calm Down" to show her support for her LGBTQ+ friends and allies. The song is about acceptance as well as cancel culture and homophobia. She calls out those who believe gay people should not have equal rights while trolling online and picketing outside of concerts.

The song became a pop anthem for pride, which explains why Kelly Clarkson covered the single on her talk show during pride festivities in June.

Clarkson opens her show every day with 'Kellyoke' and today (6/29) she sang an awesome rendition of "You Need to Calm Down" to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community!

The video is awesome with different photos from pride parades as well as colorful graphics popping up all over the screen.
