Chicago Bears pro linebacker Khalil Mack made a $350,000 donation to local nonprofits investing in initiatives to better serve low-income kids during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
One of the organizations receiving Mack's donation is Better Chicago and its Emergency Relief Fund will provide support to vulnerable communities that are suffering during the outbreak.
Better Chicago promises that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to relief efforts and empowering local nonprofits to serve low-income communities hit hardest by this crisis.
When asked about the donation, Mack said he was blessed to be able to assist his community and appreciates all the work Better Chicago is doing on the front line helping residents receive the assistance they so desperately need.
