Plainfield residents started the HOPE (Helping Our Plainfield Essentials) Challenge helping both local restaurant owners and local essential service workers.

Now the Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL has created the "Meals for Heroes" Program to help rally behind healthcare workers and local restaurants.
The hospital has made arrangements with local restaurants to prepare, package, and deliver meals to the employees at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.
All you have to do it call the restaurant to make an order, pay with a credit card over the phone, then the restaurant will deliver the meal you donated to the hospital.
You can visit the Shepherd's Circle Facebook Page each day to see which restaurants are participating that you can order from.
The page will be updated as more restaurants ask to participate!
This is a great way to give back to a local business while also supporting our healthcare workers that are on the front lines battling the pandemic.
