Michael Jordan loves a good competition, no matter if it's basketball or fishing.

This week he took out his fishing yacht, Catch 23, to North Carolina for the Big Rock Blue Marlin Fishing Tournament and surprised everyone with his catch.

Tuesday was Day 2 of the competition and Jordan and his crew managed to haul a massive 442-pound marlin out of the water and into the boat! Jordan could not contain his excitement as the fish was pulled from the water.

The catch puts Jordan's team in 6th place in the competition and they have until the 13th to try and beat the leading boat that has a 494.2-pound monster. The winning prize on the line is $3.4 million!

Jordan embarked on this fishing expedition just days after his company pledged $100 million to racial injustice.
