When Morgan Wallen began performing the song "More Than My Hometown" on tour, it quickly became a fan favorite and his followers have been BEGGING him for months to release it!

Well, your wish is his command because Wallen officially released the song TODAY!

With "More Than My Hometown" Wallen takes a different spin on a relationship issue. The song paints the picture of a small town romance between a boy and a girl that have loved and known each other for forever. Unfortunately, the girl has bigger dreams that go beyond her hometown, yet the boy is unable to leave. Instead of trying to change her mind and make her stay, the boy lets her go as he stands his ground. The boy does not shame the girl but accepts that they want different things.

Wallen sings, "This might be the last time I lay you down because I can't love you more than my hometown."

He wrote the song with his two friends and fellow label mates Michael Hardy and Ernest Keith Smith.

This is the second track released from Wallen's upcoming sophomore album set to drop in late 2020, following "This Bar" that was released at the beginning of the year.
