NFL Players Create Powerful 'What If I was George Floyd' Video

NFL, Players, Message, Video, Black Lives Matter

Yesterday was the memorial service for George Floyd and it was attended by thousands of people including a dozen Minnesota Vikings football players.

After the service, many of your favorite NFL players created a very powerful 'What If I Was George Floyd' video to send a message to the league asking them to change and admit silencing their players is wrong.

The following players participated in the video: Mahomes, Davante Adams, Jamal Adams, Saquon Barkley, Anthony Barr, Odell Beckham, Ezekiel Elliott, Stephon Gilmore, DeAndre Hopkins, Eric Kendricks, Jarvis Landry, Marshon Lattimore, Tyrann Mathieu, Patrick Peterson, Sterling Shepard, Michael Thomas, Deshaun Watson, and Chase Young.

Before the video was posted this is what the NFL said in an official statement:

Hopefully, this is just the first step the league will take to create real change for its players.
