Great news for Portillo's lovers, especially those that do not live in the Chicagoland area! You can now get the beefy and cheesy goodness right in your own neighborhood thanks to the Portillo's "Beef Bus" Food Truck.
The truck will have all the fan favorites including the Chicago-style hot dogs, tasty Italian Beef sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, and delicious chopped salad. Also, we cannot forget the famous chocolate cake shakes!
Portillo's announced Monday the launch of an online voting campaign to determine which cities its "Beef Bus" should stop in. Voters can nominate any location in the 48 contiguous states.
Portillo's CEO, Michael Osanloo, said they get messages every day from fans asking to bring the restaurant to their city. The "Beef Bus" voting campaign allows guests to have the final say and be in the driver seat.

By taking their food on the road, Portillo's is allowing people from all over the world to try their beef and giardiniera. Whether the person is a former Chicagoan and misses the restaurant OR its someone that has never even heard of Italian beef, the "Beef Bus" will surely bring tasty treats to all!
The "Beef Bus" will begin its nationwide tour on Feb. 6 with a visit to the Florida State Fair in Tampa. Portillo's fans can track the food truck's journey on Instagram and Twitter.
