One of the best parts of music is when artists cover other artists' songs in their own way and create a new version you never thought was possible, but also love at the same time.
Some of the best covers (in my opinion) include Thomas Rhett's version of 'Castle on the Hill' (Ed Sheeran), Harry Styles cover of 'Still The One' (Shania Twain), and who could forget Darius Rucker's cover of 'Wagon Wheel' (Old Crow Medicine Show).
But some covers are so out there that they catch you off guard...introducing Alex Melton's punk rock version of The Chicks classic hit 'Wide Open Spaces.' It may surprise you how good the song still sounds when crossing over genres.
Right?! So different, yet still works!
Melton recently blew up on Tik Tok with a punk rock version of Taylor Swift's 'Love Story,' but he also has a YouTube channel featuring other awesome covers! He’s done punk covers of country songs and even country covers of punk songs!
Here is his version of Panic at the Disco's famous 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies,' changed to 'I Write Sins, Not Tractors.'
