You've heard of a beer flight or a champagne flight, but what about a margarita flight?
Yes, a margarita flight. Four different 5 oz glasses of whichever flavor margarita you want.
Sounds like the perfect summer drink and that's exactly what the owners of the Dock at Inwood, a restaurant in Joliet thought.
The family restaurant, owned by Rick Trafton, his wife Julia, and brother and sister-in-law Mike and Melissa, has created its own margarita recipe from the sour to the syrup and offers 20 different flavors.
Once the pandemic hit, the owners decided they needed to figure out a way to sell their popular flights legally and now you can order them from the comfort of your home.
They created an awesome 'Board Your Flight' concept online when you pull up their drink menu. There will be a boarding pass on it that will show all the different margarita flavors. You can click on the four flavors you wish to try and the staff will put them into Styrofoam cups loaded with the flavors. Then they attach liquor bottles on the side so when you get home you can board your flight.
Even when their outdoor patio opens, customers will still be able to order the flights curbside if they want.
They do not only offer margarita flights but they also have salads, burgers, chicken, and fish to enjoy as well! Check out their entire menu HERE.
