I guess it's true that art really does imitate life!
But maybe it's a little too soon for a TV show about the pandemic, though? Since we're still trying to navigate it?
Well, either way, it's happening!
The new 4 part series will air on Freeform on August 22nd and 23rd at 7 pm, and then begin streaming on Hulu the following day.
The entire series was filmed remotely, shot in the cast's actual homes using remote technologies, and follows characters from the beginning of the stay at home order all the way through the events that incited the Black Lives Matter protests as they try to navigate life and create connections during the quarantine.
There are four different storylines playing out simultaneously for viewers including a strained married couple who are forced to live under the same roof after the husband loses his job, two platonic roommates that question their love for each other, a daughter that returns home from college and finds that her parents have been lying to her and are actually separated, AND a woman trying to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary with her husband who is stuck at a rehab facility that does not allow visitors.
The limited series attempts to show very relatable stories of what many people have been actually going through during quarantine. I mean I know I'll definitely be watching it!
