For the second time during this pandemic, Chicago sports fans are getting excited about a documentary.
ESPN released the first trailer for the Sammy Sosa - Mark McGwire home run chase documentary, "Long Gone Summer," that will debut later this month.
The official air date is Sunday, June 14th at 8 pm CT.
This weekend the first promotional video for the documentary was released featuring interviews with both Sosa and McGwire as they talk about their memorable chase of Roger Maris’ home run record in the summer of 1998.
Everyone is missing live sports, but this will help in the meantime.
